MESA COUNTY, Colo.- - Dozens of motorcyclists gather to participate in the 10th annual Grand Mesa Poker Run benefiting troops and veterans through the Operation Interdependence organization on Saturday, May 13.
The bikers met in the morning and ride around gathering cards to play poker at their final destination. The run is a way to help the non-profit Operation Interdependence continue to send packages to troops overseas.
The organization supports both troops and veterans overseas and at home. "Not only overseas but here as well, we appreciate all of our military. And this is our way of doing it, this is our way of giving back to them, and helping to support them," says Karon Carley, the President of Operation Interdependence.
