GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Local auto dealerships demonstrated their greenest vehicles available, during the 2017 Colorado Car Convoy stop in Grand Junction.
The Colorado Automobile Dealers Association put on the show, in support of the Denver Auto Show scheduled in April.
Five local dealerships displayed their eco-friendly cars, which officials say are 90% cleaner than cars 15 years ago.
The car convoy began Wednesday morning in Montrose, before making its way to Grand Junction, then traveling to Glenwood Springs and Silverthorne.
In total, the convoy will stop in 10 different cities over 3 days.
Those with the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association say it's all to support local car dealerships.
"Our new car dealers are the backbone of many communities across the state of Colorado. So we like to support them in any way that we can, anytime that we're able to. That's our primary purpose is to advocate for the, and that's what we're out here doing," says Michelle O'Conner of CADA.
Organizers say the Denver Auto Show will take place April 5th through the 9th, at the Denver Convention Center.
