GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Reports of a shooting incident were phoned into dispatch around 12:45 a.m. on January 1.
The incident is still being actively investigated, so details are subject to change, but this is what we know so far. It appears that a pedestrian was walking in the street which forced a vehicle to stop, according to officers with the Grand Junction Police Department. The pedestrian then apparently sprayed the driver of the vehicle with bear spray. Police say he left the scene and came back to spray that same driver again.
The pedestrian ended up with a gunshot wound that is not life-threatening at this time.
