BREAKING: Sessions to End Federal Policy on State Marijuana Laws

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - Attorney General Jeff Sessions will rescind the Obama-era policy that let legalized marijuana flourish without federal intervention across the country.

That's according to two individuals with direct knowledge of the decision. This change would allow U.S. attorneys in areas where marijuana has been legalized to have the final say on whether they will enforce federal marijuana law, according to CBS News.

Sessions is expected to make a formal announcement Thursday, Jan. 4.
