- GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The City of Grand Junction employees are holding a golf and silent auction event this weekend to benefit the Veteran's Art Center's Operation Revamp.

Operation Revamp is a program committed to raising public awareness of post traumatic stress disorder, P.T.S.D., and the difficulties facing returning veterans from war.

All proceeds from the event will go to funding programs for the veteran's art center.

"I think it's really nice for the community to come behind and have the city of Grand Junction employees takes the lead to support these local non-profits and to give back to the community and golf is a fun way,” said Emily Krause, Recreation Supervisor City of Grand Junction.

The golf tournament will be football theme, so people are encouraged to wear jerseys.
