GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- - The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission meets to discuss a variety of issues on May 4 and 5.
One of these is the amount of big game hunting licenses issued for this year. Hunting can help maintain wildlife populations, according to Andy Holland, the big game manager with the CPW. "What goes up must come down, and we can use hunting and moderate those peaks and valleys, and keep populations more stable," says Holland.
