GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-A new co-working option is coming to Grand Junction that will benefit anyone who would otherwise work from home.
It's called Factory and they rent out desks, office spaces, and meeting rooms to entrepreneurs, small business owners, and creators.
"So it's really all about collaboration and community," says Co-founder, Josh Hudnall.
Factory offers a co-working office space for anyone who needs it.
"We tend to look at the remote work force, or describe it as the remote work force, but it's really anybody who can work from a laptop or is willing to cart their computer in, or their notebook," adds Hudnall.
They're are a number of options to choose from.
"One of the options is a dedicated desk, like this one here, where you can come and keep all of your stuff. You don't have to move it back and forth every single day. We also have these, kind of hot desks, that's just an open desk that you can come in and work for the day but you wouldn't keep all of your stuff there," says Co-founder Brian Watson.
"You get access to high speed internet, printing, conference rooms and other amenities," adds Hudnall.
They're also private offices and conference rooms.
"We have a couple different conference rooms. Conference rooms are really important for entrepreneurs, small business owners, especially like a graphic designer or creative," says Watson.
The owners say that Factory can fit any needs you may have.
"It's not about what you do, it's just, if you're a remote worker and you don't necessarily work out of a traditional office. You're trying to escape the coffee shop or get out of your home office from time to time, you can find a space here at factory," says Hudnall.
The owners say that they offer a variety of pricing options.
For $99 a month, you get access to a desk Monday through Friday.
For $250 a month, you get a dedicated desk where you can leave all your equipment.
For 500 and up, you get a private office, but officials say those are already all booked up.
Also for $20 you can get a desk for a day.
Of course those prices gets you access to high speed internet, printers, and all other amenities.
In addition Mesa County Library holders can access the facility up to 5 times a month for free.
Once again, they're grand opening is next Friday at 750 Main Street, and the community is invited to attend.
