GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Golfers experienced a different kind of hazard at a local course -- in the form of a car!
Grand Junction police say early this afternoon, a tan Pontiac passenger car slammed into a fence and drove through the "Lincoln Park Golf Course".
Authorities say the vehicle was in the area of North Avenue and 15th street, before crashing into the fence.
According to witnesses, the car kept driving a good 100 yards from the point of impact onto the grounds of the golf course.
The car was towed, and there were no reported injuries to the driver or anyone on the course.
Police say 62-year-old Larry Schlauger has been arrested for DUI and reckless driving.
