MESA COUNTY, Colo. - A Grand Junction man is behind bars Thursday night accused of a number of child sex crimes.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the alleged incidents took place over the course of three years, involving multiple children.
The accused offender is Collin James Jensen, who is 41 years old.
Authorities say he committed unlawful sexual acts with at least three children between May 7th or 2014, and July 28th of 2017.
Jensen is facing a number of felony charges including sexual assault on a child in a pattern of abuse. Also, sexual assault on a child in a position of trust.
The investigation into the case against Jensen is still ongoing to determine if there are any more victims.
