Hundreds March at Mesa Mall for Cure to Muscular Dystrophy

The Muscular Dystrophy Association's 4th Annual March at Mesa Mall

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Hundreds of people from the Western Slope could be seen marching this morning at Mesa Mall in an effort to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and all those affected by this disease.

This is the 4th annual event to benefit the MDA, and all who participated are walking for the cure.

Early Saturday morning, the march circled the mall.

More than $8,000 was raised and many say the walk is a meaningful way for families, friends, neighbors and local businesses in the area to bind together and raise awareness of this debilitating disease.
