GRAND JUNCTION, CO - Jolly Smiles is giving more than smiles to it's patients it's giving back to children attending schools in the Grand Valley.
The Jolley Smiles Grand Junction Office held its Back to School Celebration party where dozens of people gathered in the parking lot to enjoy some food and pet live animals along with much more.
The real treat was that Pomona Elementary, Pear Park Elementary and Independence Academy won $500 each in a raffle offered.
This is the first time the office donates such a large amount to schools directly and it all happened because the business believes this is how schools will benefit the most.
"We started donating school supplies notebooks, pens, pencils. Just different things for the kids balls, different playground equipment and things like that and then we were like well that's great but what else do schools need. They do need some cash so we decided to donate 500," said Tyler Jolley, Orthodontist.
Aside from these three schools all schools within the Grand Valley will be receiving school supplies.
