GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The accused gang leader of Satan's Disciples has been formally charged on all 24 counts of his indictment.
An advisement hearing was held at the Mesa County Justice Center earlier today for 31-year-old Christopher Wilson of Grand Junction.
He was charged on all 24 counts, including aggravated robbery, menacing, assault, theft, and tampering with evidence.
His possible penalties include 2 to 24 years in the department of corrections, followed by parole.
The District Attorney prosecuting the case has advised the judge that he will be filing habitual criminal charges. If convicted, he would be facing a mandatory 96 year sentence.
Wilson is currently behind bars at the Mesa County Jail on a $500,000 cash only bond.
Meanwhile, he's not the only member of Satan's Disciples who appeared in court in connection to these crimes today.
Sean McDonough was previously arrested for his role in the attempted burglary of the First National Pawn which occurred in April of 2017.
He is being prosecuted in state court for aggravated robbery and attempted burglary.
During the hearing, he was issued a $25,000 cash only bond.
