GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- - Hundreds of people gather to celebrate all the fun to be had outside during the Outdoor Festival at Edgewater Brewery on Saturday, May 13.
The Tamarisk Coalition is an organization striving to restore riversides lands from invasive species. The proceeds from the beer sales and silent auction at the event go to the Tamarisk Coalition.
Stacy Beaugh, the Executive Director of the Tamarisk Coalition, says she works for the Tamarisk Coalition because of "the rivers, the trails, all that makes this Valley really amazing for me and my family. So I'm really passionate about doing anything I can to make that better - so I do that professionally and also in my volunteer time."
The outdoor fun continues with Colorado Public Lands day on Saturday, May 20.
