Peach Parade is coming up!

GRAND JUNCTION, CO - The Palisade Peach Festival is quickly approaching, taking place on August 17 through the 19 and group members are getting ready particularly for the Peach Parade.
The parade takes place on the last day of the festival and a number of themes and appreciations are displayed.
This year the Mesa County Democrats return to be a part of that parade but with a new theme.
They will be out displaying the message of "We Love our Farmers".
To get ready for the event members have come together to make signs displaying the message.
"Our theme that we decided to go with this year for the parade is that we support our local farmers, so we are making a bunch of signs for everybody to carry in the parade, showing our support for our farming community," said Shanna Sheperd, Mesa County Democrats Coordinator.
Members of the group will be riding in a truck and trailer displaying that message at the parade.
The group supports all farmers and they are glad to show their support to the community at the festival.
