The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for information on an early morning shooting in the city.
Several shots were fired at a home around 6 a.m. Monday morning. There were people inside the house, but no on was injured.

This morning, shortly after 6:00am, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of multiple gunshots in the area of the 2000 Block of Bunting Avenue. Upon arrival, it was discovered that several shots had been fired into an occupied residence in that area. No one was injured. We currently have no description of the person or vehicle involved. If anyone heard or saw anything in that area this morning, we urge you to contact Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, reference GJPD case number 18-5700 . If your information leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.
