Grand Junction, CO - Some early morning snow and freezing temperatures Friday morning are causing a mess on I-70.
A little before 8 am, the Colorado State Patrol closed I-70's eastbound lanes near exit 37 at Palisade because of semi trucks that had slid off the road. Several other accidents have been reported along I-70, mainly between mile markers 37 through 47.
No serious injuries have been reported from any of the accidents.
Rising temperatures later in the day are expected to alleviate the problems.
