The Wild West Falcons Bring Car Show to Veterans

Allowing Disabled Veterans a Chance to Participate in Car Show

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - It can be a challenge every day for disabled veterans when it comes to getting involved and getting around, but on Sunday, the Wild West Falcons Chapter decided to bring their car show straight to the VA Medical Center for them to experience.

Dozens of veterans could be seen at the car show soaking in all the quality models of automobiles outside in the VA parking lot.

From hot roads to cruisers, there was a wide range of different selections available for veterans.

"We got the bright idea somewhere along the way to do something for the veterans in Mesa County. It dawned on us, as a chapter, that the veterans don't get to go to car shows. They're stuck here", says Ted Boothroyd, the President of the Wild West Falcons' Chapter.
