Three hikers found

Hikers were lost in the Grand Mesa

GRAND JUNCTION, CO - Mesa County Sheriff's Office announced they have found three lost hikers on the Grand Mesa. 
Marshia Peterson, 40, and her two daughters, Signe, 10 and Zophie, 8, were believed to be hiking at the Mesa Top Trailhead Thursday afternoon. 
The three of them were camping with the rest of their family and when they did not return after leaving the family panicked and called 911. Reports show they were last seen around 1:30 p.m., yesterday at the flowing park overlook. 
The sheriff's office reported Mesa County Search and Rescue found the hikers safe, just after 2 p.m.
"A plane we have the Mesa County search and rescue ground team, the ATV team has searched overnight. We also have several deputies who were up there. We have aircraft to search and we also have some rescue dogs who are in the area." say's Megan Terlecky, PIO Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
Hikers are now safe and back with their families.
