PALISADE, Colo - Two 19-year-old males were given courts summons after they were caught shooting from their vehicle into the desert just before 7 p.m. Sunday evening.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says the two were allegedly shooting prairie dogs as they drove along the 100 block of Wilson Boulevard just south of Palisade.

Authorities say Tucker Feldman and Chase Powell were each given summons for Reckless Endangerment, a class-three misdemeanor.
