Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 50

WHITEWATER, Colo. - A two-vehicle crash near Whitewater caused the southbound lane on Highway 50 to be shut down temporarily.

Those with the Colorado State Patrol said the call came in at around 3:12 p.m.

There were two cars involved in the crash, a blue Nissan Altima driven by a 65-year-old male and a silver GMC Acadia driven by a 16-year-old female. Troopers said one of the cars was t-boned.

The southbound lane has since been re-opened.

We have no word yet if there were any injuries.
