Western Colorado Dog Agility Club Trial

Dogs Race Through Obstacles

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- - The Western Colorado Agility Club hosts their annual dog agility trial at the Mesa County Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 14.

The dogs and their trainers race through a complex course with obstacles ranging from jumps to tunnels. Many say this sport is difficult to master for both the dogs and trainers, but still rewarding. "You don't have your body turned right, your feet turned right, your hands right, the dog doesn't go where you want it. But when it does happen, and everything goes good and you get that perfect run, [you] have to do it more and more," says Jordon Leigh of the Western Colorado Agility Club.

The group says they strive to act as a team and share their love for dogs together.
