Grand Junction, CO - Everyone from farmers to ski resorts are worried about the current dry spell on the Western Slope. How long will the current drought last?
NewsChannel 5 meteorologist Marcus Beasley checked in with meteorologists at the National Weather Service. The general belief right now is that the current dry spell does not necessarily mean we won't see any snow or other precipitation throughout the winter months.
The weather experts say we should start worrying more if we still have not seen any moisture by the end of this month.
Due to the lack of snow, Powderhorn announced that it will not open Mondays through Wednesdays until more snow falls.
