Woman Who Fell at Get Air Identified

Facility Remains Closed

Grand Junction, CO - The family of the woman who fell at Get Air At The Silo in Grand Junction has confirmed that it was 20-year-old Ciara Romero, and that she died from her injuries.

Signs at Get Air and the facility's website say that it is closed until further notice.

On Thursday afternoon, emergency crews were called to Get Air following reports that someone had fallen from a great height at Get Air. The Grand Junction Police Department said that a 20-year-old woman had been transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Get Air has an attraction called the Silo Cave in which a person climbs up around 75 feet and then bungee jumps down. Safety inspectors are currently at Get Air investigating the incident.

Romero was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Hilltop. There has been an outpouring of grief and support for her family by friends and relatives on social media.
