GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Travis Pastrana's Nitro Circus Live is coming to Grand Junction, and one FMX rider made time for a meet-and-greet ahead of the show.
Nitro Circus features 30 world class action sport athletes with riders in FMX, BMX, scooter and inline. The lineup even includes multiple X Games participants including Canon City native Anthony Murray who was available for autographs and pictures at a meet and greet at All Terrain Motor Sports Tuesday.
Murray's a freestyle motocross rider who's building a resume for himself. He won first at the Monster Energy X-Pilots, fifth in the 2016 Summer X Games, and returns for his second year with Nitro Circus. It's not often he gets to come back to his home state of Colorado, so this stop is sort of a homecoming for him.
"I grew up riding here in Grand Junction over in the Bookcliffs and stuff," said Murray. "I have a lot of riding buddies here, so it's going to be awesome to see all the familiar faces and just be able to come here with Nitro Circus and put on a show for everyone."
Nitro Circus will come to Stocker Stadium on Saturday, August 26. The show is at 7 p.m. The stop at Stocker Stadium is the fourth in a 13 city tour. Tickets can be purchased at http://nitrocircus.com.
All Terrain Motor Sports will host another meet-and-greet on Wednesday, August 23, with BMX rider Brandon Schmidt.
