Paxton Lynch Named Starting QB against Raiders

Just a day after the Denver Broncos promoted Bill Musgrave to offensive coordinator, Paxton Lynch earned a promotion as well.

The second year man gets his chance to be QB1 as the Broncos face off with AFC West rival Oakland.  This isn't Lynch's first career start, he started two games last season when Trevor Siemian was out with injuries.

Lynch has recently recovered from a shoulder injury himself, sitting out the first few weeks of this season.  Turnovers were a big reason for the change at quarterback.  Luckily for Lynch, the Raiders haven't intercepted a pass all season.

Siemian will be the back up QB on Sunday.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2:25 p.m. from Oakland.
