Rockies Rained Out, Host Doubleheader Wednesday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Grand Junction Rockies' game on Tuesday was suspended because of rain, and they'll play a doubleheader on Wednesday to close out the series with the Missoula Osprey.

The Osprey had hit a three run home run in the top the third inning before the game was called, but still trailed the Rockies, 9-3.

Ramon Marcelino, Alan Trejo, and Chad Spanberger all homered in the game.

The doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. at Suplizio Field on Wednesday.  Tuesday's game will resume and be completed as the full nine inning game.  The game following will be seven innings.
