Kirsten graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. She began working in local television for another Grand Valley TV station before joining the KREX/KFQX team in July of 2021.
You may recognize Kirsten as the host of the Golden Apple Awards or hear her voice in many station promotional spots and commercials.
Kirsten is a Colorado native who loves calling the Grand Valley home. She enjoys spending time with her family, and in her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, and camping. She also has many other hobbies including cooking, crafting, gardening, and trying new things. When she’s not at the office, you can typically find her spending time with her husband, and their dog, Lucy.
