Timber Schuman has been in the valley his whole life, residing in Glade Park. He completed the Western Colorado Community College film program before coming to KREX. He designed and teaches two classes, Outdoor Photography and Commercial Photography, in the evenings at WCCC in the Community Education Center department. He has his own business (Timberwolf Photography LLC), and specializes in portraits, product, wildlife, landscape, and real estate photos. Art has been part of Timber’s life in many different ways for as long as he can remember, primarily starting out with drawing then shifting into photography. He enjoys painting, woodburning, writing, poetry, and cinematography as well. He loves music – he has played guitar for over a decade, and also plays piano and ukelele. He keeps active by hiking, playing tennis and golf. He works most of the time – when he is not here working at the station, he is either teaching, working on his business, or working at Buckle. In his time off, he enjoys traveling and road trips, often tying into his hiking and photography passions, and learning new skills. He tries to give himself a break when he can, but often finds himself trying to spend his time being productive and feeling guilty when he’s not. Even though he has such a busy schedule, he makes sure to find time for friends and family. He is known at the station for his addiction to Dr Pepper and Mike and Ikes.
