Colorado stands out: 

  • Colorado ranks No. 1 for the healthiest state, with an average score of 61.8 across all of the CDC’s questions regarding health and wellness
  • There is a slight difference in gender: CO ranks is the state with the healthiest women while men rank No. 2
  • Two of the best predictors of health outcomes are income and educational attainment– 42% of people in the top 10 healthiest states were college graduates and 35% make $75K+
