The US Bureau of Labor Statistics released its State Unemployment Report Tuesday. The results are looking good for Colorado, with a .6% decrease in unemployment from August 2018, to 2019.
In August of 2018, Colorado’s unemployment rate was 3.4%.
When the BLS took a look at labor statistics in August of this year, the rate had dropped to 2.8%.
Colorado tied with Maine for the second most significant drop in unemployment from August 2018 to 2019.
New Jersey took the cake with a .8% drop in the past year.
