GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the early hours this morning.

At around 4 a.m. this morning, GJPD officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1300 block of N 20th Street. Initial reports claimed to have heard several gunshots followed by a car speeding away. Officers discovered several bullets had been shot into a house on the scene.

According to official reports, no one was injured from the shooting and the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
