DENVER — New transportation is unveiled today by Governor Jared Polis and the Colorado Department of Transportation, offering skiers rides to and from popular ski areas.
The Snowstang will operate on weekends from December 4th through April 20th of next year. Pick-up locations are slated for Denver’s Union Station and the Denver Federal Center.
The Snowstand will offer trips to Loveland Ski Area and Arapahoe Basin for $25 and Steamboat Resort and Howelsen Hill for $40. Additional discounts will be available for seniors and children.
Currently the Snowstang will over serve front range skiers and snowboarders. No service is being offered on the Western Slope.
