Poll Finds Environmental Issues Very Important for Latino Voters in Western U.S.

COLORADO SPRINGS- A poll recently conducted by Colorado College finds Latino Voters in the Western United States overwhelmingly support public land protection and other environmental issues.

According to the poll over 80 percent of Latino voters in the Mountain West consider a candidate’s stance on environmental issues important when deciding whether to support them.

The poll also found 90 percent of these Latino voters view water supply and low levels in rivers as a serious problem in their states.

The poll surveyed voters in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
