Reward offered in Denver fire that killed 5 from Senegal

Colorado News

DENVER (AP) — Authorities are offering a $14,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for setting a house fire in Denver that killed five people with ties to Senegal.

Police and a representative of the family on Friday urged people who know anything about what happened to come forward. A leader in Colorado’s Senegalese community says its members need the support of U.S. born citizens now and says finding those responsible for Wednesday’s fire will help every immigrant in the state feel secure.
