Service industry workers in Aspen find support from peers

Colorado News

ASPEN, Colo. — Service industry workers in Aspen are taking time to check in with how they’re feeling and support one another thanks to a group created by two of their own.

In a resort town where most people are on vacation, group co-founder Quinn Gallagher says it can be easy to think you should be partying all the time too. The transience created by the high cost of living also can leave workers feeling isolated.

Members of the Hospitality Matters group meets every other week at a bar before opening to listen to a presenter and then socialize without alcohol.
