GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The City of Grand Junction is excited to break ground at the pickleball courts at Lincoln Park today at 3:00 p.m.
The construction is set to retrofit the existing lighting with new LED lights. According to the city, the new LED lights will meet international dark sky standards.
Construction crews will convert the existing tennis courts into pickleball courts to create a total of 20 pickleball courts at Lincoln Park, all with LED lights. The completion date is currently scheduled for this fall.
