PALISADE, Colo. (KREX) — Dixie Burmeister with the Palisade International Honeybee Festival buzzes into the studio with anchor Ethan Noah to go over this weekend’s big event. The festival returns after a two year hiatus due to the Pandemic. As always, it will feature both fun and educational with multiple vendors and musical acts being interspersed with talks from local experts about the importance of the main attraction, bees! Beyond that, you can attend a cooking demonstration with Dixie or check out the KREX 5 Spelling Bee and Bee Costume Contest. You can find the schedule of events below. It all starts Saturday, April 9th at 11 a.m.
