GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. –
Mesa County Public Health released their 2018 suicide report. The report highlights statistics, recommendations, prevention strategies and lists community partners.
The annual report is aimed to help the community deal with the growing problem. Last year there was a total of 55 suicides in the county, 20 more than 2014, 10 more than in 2017.
Maybe one of the most important parts of the report is the “Prevention Strategies” section. As much as the report is informative, it is also a tool. Offering an in-depth look at how to help at risk people you might know.
