GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — If you remember last year, Kris Kringle posed for photos behind plexiglass. After gathering public feedback, this year, Mesa Mall officials are offering two options.

The clear wall is still available but, because Mesa County flattened the curve in COVID cases, it’s up to families to choose how to snapshot the holiday.

“Just having the ability to come and see Santa for a lot of families has really made their holiday great,” Mesa Mall Marketing Manager Natalie Schievelbein expresses, “No matter what you’re comfortable with, it’s super important for all of Mesa County whether you’re needing that 6-foot picture or whether you’re wanting your child to have that photo seated on Santa’s lap.”

Pictures with Santa at Mesa Mall are available through Christmas Eve. Your fur babies can also take pictures during Paws and Claus (December 13) from 6pm to 8pm.
