GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Time is running out to sign up for the 2023 Grand Junction Shimmy Mob.
Individuals can head over to the website to register until March 31.
Shimmy Mob is an annual “flash mob” event that aims to raise awareness for emotional abuse and domestic violence. Anyone is invited to join a volunteer team and dance for a cause, and no dance experience is needed.
We are excited to bring people together through dance and to raise awareness about an important issue that affects so many people. By participating in this event, people can show their support for domesti voilence prevewntion and help raise funds for local shelters and support services.

All proceeds from this year’s Shimmy Mob will benefit the Zoe House, a shelter for battered and abused young women in the Grand Valley.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 13.
