GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Department today arrested a man for felony Menacing in a McDonald’s drive-thru.
GJPD officers responded to the McDonald’s on North Avenue at around 11:15 a.m. this morning. Initial reports stated a man brandished a gun in the drive-thru after a verbal altercation.
Officers arrested and remanded Lorenzo Ochoa to the Mesa County Detention Facility for two counts of felony menacing and one count of disorderly conduct.
Responding officers reportedly detained Ochoa without any further incident. The GJPD believes this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
