GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Grand Junction Police Officers responded to a pedestrian crash last night that sent a woman to the hospital and landed a man in jail for driving under the influence.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of 28 Road and North Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. An adult woman pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious bodily injuries.
Officers arrested the driver, 35-year-old Kenneth Grimes, for DUI. Grimes is currently being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility.
