MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Sheriff’s office has arrested two juveniles for stealing from cars.

On August 15, MCSO deputies responded to reports of someone breaking into a car in the 3000 block of Wellington Avenue. Deputies arrived at the scene and found a 14-year-old male in possession of stolen property.

Deputies investigated and learned another juvenile was involved. When deputies contacted him, the 16-year-old male was also found to have stolen items in his possession.

Law enforcement canvassed the neighborhood and found six victims, but deputies believe there could be more.
