GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Department has identified the man arrested in connection to a shooting that happened in the area of Zuni Drive and Laguna Drive yesterday.
GJPD officers arrested 41-year-old Nicholas Engeman and took him into custody on three outstanding warrants. Engeman also received the following charges from the shooting that happened Monday:
- Menacing
- Attempted aggravated robbery
- First degree kidnapping
- First degree burglary
- Possession of a weapon by a previous offender
- Violation of a protection order
This is an active investigation. According to the GJPD, involved parties still have criminal charges pending. The arrest affidavit will not be released at this time due to the ongoing police investigation.
