Colorado Springs, CO – At President Trump’s “Keep America Great” Rally Thursday night, another Republican elected official was looking for a second term. U.S. Senator Cory Gardner appeared on stage to address the crowd of thousands not once, but twice – after the President called Gardner up to speak for an unusual second time.
In his address, Senator Gardner made sure to mention all he’s done for the centennial state, including spearheading the BLM’s move from Washington, D.C. to Grand Junction, and supporting Western Slope economies though economic development plans and job growth. He also shared credit with President Trump, saying they worked together on many of these projects to get them done.
Many supporters of Trump have said they will also vote for Gardner this year, especially considering Trump’s enthusiastic backing of the incumbent Senator at the Colorado Springs rally. This coming November will prove if that support is enough to win the Senator a second term.
