GRAND JUNCTION– A Grand Junction man is facing multiple felonies today after allegedly drawing a stolen gun on his friend causing a shelter in place for Chipeta Elementary and East Middle School.

After a warrant was served, officers found multiple pieces of body armor, a 40 caliber handgun, rifle magazines, and bags containing what is believed to be methamphetamine.

The gun was reported stolen in a burglary, and Gibson has been convicted of felony menacing prior to this charge.

He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond and will return to court on September 19th.
