GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Not the Lopes day.

Grand Junction started hot, scoring three in the first and two more in their third but couldn’t find their footing defensively. The 19-8 loss drops the Jackalopes to 14-16 on the season.

The Vibes bats were scorching, hitting four home runs and logging 15 total hits. The last-place Vibes got just their second series win of the season this weekend.

The Lopes will get some rest Monday before returning to action in Windsor, Colo. on Tuesday for a three-game road series.

Also today, the Florida Gators broke a college world series record with 24 runs in a win over LSU in the CWS final. Winner-take-all game three is set for tomorrow night at 5 pm.
