Grand Junction, Colo.- 590 people came together in Grand Junction, to stand united.
Members of the community walked from Sheerwood Park to Colorado Mesa University for solidarity.
Once people arrived at the University, speeches were made to shed a light on racial injustices.
Antonio Clarke who helped organized the walk said this event is to bring education to the community “we are past the protest, we got people’s attention, it’s our time to start teaching people.”
CMU student Ukhari Bradefield agrees “I want to be part of this change.”
