GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — 31 year old William Lampshire plead guilty to one count of felony fraud by check this morning.
Lampshire was facing four counts, but three of those counts were dismissed.
The charge Lampshire is pleading guilty to relates to a 2018 haunted house where he is accused of knowingly writing $2,000 worth of bad checks to pay his employees.
You may remember that KREX 5 first reported on that incident last year. Lampshire is likely facing a sentence to probation.
The people he defrauded will have a chance to speak before he is sentenced on September 25th.
