COVID-19 Case Data for Local Counties, State, U.S., and the World

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — (8/7 AM HOURS) According to Johns Hopkins University, there are now over 4,895,000 thousand cases in the U.S. and just over 160,000 deaths.

For Colorado, there are just about 49,440 cases according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Colorado has also confirmed 1,852 deaths among COVID-19 cases.

Globally, we have a little more than 19,160,000 confirmed cases. The global death toll is now more than 716,000.

Locally, Mesa County now has a cumulative positive case count of 310 since the first case was reported, according to Mesa County Public Health. That is a one day increase of seven. 238 of those cases are considered recovered, indicating that 72 cases are active in the county, and two COVID-19 patients have died due to COVID-19 complications. Mesa County has conducted 13,726 tests.

Montrose has 270 cases according to the Montrose Public Health Department, this number is only updated once a week.

From the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Delta County now has 117 cases, Garfield County now has 753, and Gunnison County now has 267 cases.
